Yee’gee! Here at Taribelang Bunda Cultural Tours we are inviting guests into our workshop area, which is a great space to get in touch with your creative side, have some fun and laughs, and create your own piece of art. The best part about it is no painting experience is required as you will be guided and supported through the process by traditional owner Taribelang Bunda artist, Geoff Sellman. Geoff is a proud Taribelang Bunda man living and working in Burramatta (Parramatta NSW)i. He s a multidisciplinary artist using a versatile range of different Mediums. Geoff is excited to be returning home to his country (much like the meebar!!) after building a very successful art business and having his art all over the world! An amazing artist for us to be proud of!

We will also have our Taribelang Bunda Cultural Tours team there to provide cultural stories about our traditional owner country and the Milbi and Meebar turtles. We will be focusing our art pieces on the Milbi (fresh water turtle) and Meebar (salt water turtle) to coincide with the Milbi Festival being held in late October and early November. The Milbi and Meebar are two of our Taribelang Bunda totems and are very special and sacred to us.

We are looking forward to connecting with our guests and sharing some of our culture and knowledge of the Bundaberg region. With education and connection at the forefront of everything we do, Taribelang Bunda Cultural Tours pride ourselves on delivering a personalized experience, making sure we’re able to get to know each person, opening up the chance for honest conversation.

Everything you need to create your own special art work is supplied in the workshop space. You are very welcome to bring snacks and drinks along as well. Hope to see you there. Let’s make some deadly art together!
